Plumbing Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs and installations, including kitchens, bathrooms, gas lines, and waterlines.
• Install and repair water heaters (standard and tankless).
• Handle tub, shower, toilet, and faucet installations.
• Diagnose and repair leaks and plumbing issues.
• Repair and maintain pool heating systems.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Accurately document work performed and report issues as needed.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

• 5 years or more servicing plumbing equipment
• High School Diploma
• Ability to operate a computer and assigned software (including email)
• Knowledge of normal safety practices pertaining to the trade
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, flexible and team player
• Good communication skills; written and verbal
• Possess a positive attitude with good organizational skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

Eligibility Requirements

• Valid drivers license
• Employment/education will be verified
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Blend Air is a drug-free workplace and requires post-offer pre-employment drug testing

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Manual dexterity to handle tools and small parts
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely
• Strong hand-eye coordination and balance
• Capacity to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
