Plumbing Foreman

About the role

ACI Mechanical is a full-service, merit-shop, design-build commercial and industrial mechanical contractor founded in 1945 with a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Show knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and codes
• Able to read plans and specifications and ensure compliance with water, waste, and vent systems with contract documents
• Layout and coordinate plumbing installation
• Complete measurements in the field for duct creation and installation
• Schedule and organize materials needed in the field in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2-5 years managerial experience in the plumbing field
• OSHA 10, 30 are not required upon application, but will be required after hire
• Driving record meets company requirements
• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening required

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, loud noises, and more within OSHA standards when visiting the jobsite.
• Employees may be exposed to outdoor conditions that include inclement weather such as heat, humidity, cold, wind, and dust.
• May be expected to carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long periods of time, walk for moderate-to-long distances on varying surface conditions, climb, crawl, crouch, reach, grip, push, and pull without issue.
