Plumbing Foreman
About the role
This is a permanent, full-time position for a Plumbing Foreman in the Asheville, NC area. The role involves creating with your hands, working outdoors in various environments, and leading and overseeing construction sites. Local candidates are preferred, and military veterans are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Create with your hands, work outdoors in different environments, and lead and oversee construction sites.
- Ensure safety by enforcing proper PPE and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Lead a crew of Plumbing Journeymen and Apprentices on new Commercial Construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to guide project execution.
- Track and report employee hours worked to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Assign tasks to team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Order material ahead of time to avoid delays and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Install different piping materials as part of the construction process.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Commercial Plumbing experience.
- Prior experience leading a team is highly preferred.
- A track record of completing projects on schedule.
- A thorough knowledge of Plumbing codes and best practices.
- Ability to keep the workplace drug-free.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and bad weather.
- Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
- Work efficiently in confined spaces.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in different trades.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions that impact the project.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
Qualifications
Local candidates are preferred. Military veterans are encouraged to apply. No travel required.
Skills
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Pay
Your starting pay is dependent upon experience, but continued growth depends on you. Annual pay reviews are provided.
Schedule
Full-time position with regular workdays and weekends as needed for project completion.
