Plumbing Estimator - Cincinnati

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate plumbing estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, bid documents, and contract requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs for plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, storm, medical gas, and specialty systems.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop complete project budgets, labour forecasts, and material cost analyses.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.
• Cook up closely with project managers, field operations, and executive leadership during bid preparation.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.
• Afford assistance with change order pricing and project turnover meetings following award.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and installation methods.
• Experience estimating public and private construction projects.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
