Plumbing Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate plumbing estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
• Attend bid review meetings and collaborate with project management and operations teams
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and scope clarifications
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and industry partners

Requirements

• 3+ years of plumbing estimating experience
• Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience preparing competitive bid packages and conceptual budgets
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Able to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
