About the role

As a Plumbing Estimator, you will serve as the primary client contact, estimating, selling, and managing commercial plumbing projects. You will identify risks, develop project estimates from plans and specifications, and communicate trade-specific scopes of work to all necessary parties. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and approving project documents, compiling subcontractor lists, entering data into recap spreadsheets, participating in post-project reviews, and collaborating as a company resource.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks and general condition needs for plumbing projects.
• Develop accurate project estimates based on plans and specifications.
• Communicate trade-specific scope of work to clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Review and approve all project-related documents.
• Compile and manage a list of necessary subcontractors.
• Enter summary data into recap spreadsheets.
• Participate in post-project reviews to assess outcomes and improve processes.
• Cooperate with internal and external teams as a company resource.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a plumbing estimator.
• Organizational skills to handle project management responsibilities.
• Strong negotiating skills with suppliers and customers.
• Budgeting experience.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Advanced written, verbal, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
• Ability to work well with others in high-pressure situations with minimal supervision.

Pay

$80,000 to $140,000 DOE.
