This Plumbing Assembly role is based in Franklin, WI, with a pay rate of $24.00/hour.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and work order specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, including water supply networks and waste and drainage systems of HVAC units.
- Ensure precise measurements, cuttings, bending, and threading of copper or PVC pipe using hand and power tools such as reamers, copper pipe cutters, and pipe thread machines.
- Join and secure tubes, pipes, couplings, and fittings using cement, soldering, and brazing.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Work with the Production Lead to meet standard operating procedures.
- Measure and mark guidelines for proper HVAC unit parts installation.
- Ensure safety and quality measures are followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 2-3 hours.
- Ability to reach over shoulders/head.
- Ability to bend at the waist and knees.
- Ability to twist at shoulders/waist.
- Familiarity with tools.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
