An Apprentice Plumber I assists in complex plumbing jobs and handles smaller jobs independently. This position requires travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate willingness to excel and learn commercial plumbing
• Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to complete jobs successfully
• Learn industry-relevant building codes and regulations for installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems
• Measure, cut, and bend pipe material
• Arrive on the jobsite at the required time
• Attend all safety meetings
• Follow instructions given by on-site leadership
• Clean the job site after work is completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• OSHA 10 Certification required
• No experience necessary but preferred

Skills

• Ability to listen to instructions and follow through with requests
• Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
