Commercial Plumbing Apprentice I

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate willingness to excel and learn commercial plumbing.
• Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to complete the job successfully.
• Learn industry-relevant building codes and regulations for the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems.
• Measure, cut, and bend pipe material.
• Be on the jobsite at the required time.
• Attend all safety meetings.
• Follow the instructions given by on-site leadership.
• Clean the job site after the work is completed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to listen to instructions and follow through with requests.
• Familiar with plumbing tools and equipment.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Education And Experience

• A high school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• An OSHA 10 Certification required.
• No experience necessary but preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Use hand(s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
• Reach with hand(s) and arm(s).
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
