Job Responsibilities
- Assemble pipes
- Clean the water supply
- Handle tools
- Clean job sites
- Assist in complex jobs
- Handle smaller jobs independently
- Travel as needed
Requirements
- Demonstrate willingness to excel and learn commercial plumbing
- Determine appropriate tools and equipment for job success
- Learn industry-relevant building codes and regulations for commercial plumbing systems
- Measure, cut, and bend pipe material
- Be present on the jobsite at required times
- Attend safety meetings
- Follow on-site leadership instructions
- Clean job site after completion
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Listen to instructions and follow through with requests
- Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- OSHA 10 Certification required
- No experience necessary but preferred
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, and sit regularly
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone
- Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls
- Reach with hands and arms
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
About the Role
This position involves assembling pipes, cleaning water supplies, using tools, and maintaining job sites. It also includes assisting with complex projects and managing smaller tasks independently. Travel may be required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a willingness to learn commercial plumbing, the ability to determine necessary tools and equipment, knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations, and the physical capability to perform the job demands.
