Plumbing - Apprentice

As an apprentice, you’ll learn directly from experienced plumbers, gaining valuable knowledge in residential and commercial plumbing systems. Safety, skill development, and customer satisfaction are core to the role.

Responsibilities

• Speak professionally with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Manage stress and handle difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
• Address and resolve new/returning customers’ concerns promptly and accurately.
• Operate company vehicles, obey all state and federal laws, and keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained.
• Follow safety instructions; no tolerance for safety violations.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters, and test equipment required for the trade.
• Perform skilled plumbing maintenance work, including repairing, installing, and altering plumbing equipment.
• Submit customer invoices via company iPad, documenting equipment information, diagnostics, and recommended repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Valid Plumber Apprentice license.
• Clean driving record.
• Time‑management skills.
• Basic software understanding.
• Self‑motivation.

Physical Work Requirements

• Regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands to operate or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Exposure to moving parts, equipment, temperature and humidity changes, dust, fumes, electricity, gases, and moderate noise.

Pay

Starting pay: $45,000 plus commission.
