Plumbing - Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Learn directly from experienced plumbers, gaining valuable knowledge in residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, and accurately.
• Operate company vehicles and follow all state and federal laws, as well as, maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
• Perform skilled plumbing maintenance work in repairing, installing, and altering plumbing equipment.
• Submit customer invoices via company I Pad correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostic, and all recommended repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Valid Plumber Apprentice License
• Clean driving record
• Time management skills
• Basic software understanding
• Self-motivation

Physical Work Requirements

• Regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus.
• Activities involving being around moving parts and equipment, exposure to changes in temperature and humidity as well as dust, fumes, electricity, gases and moderate noise.

Starting Pay

$40,000 plus commission
