Plumber / Zone Mechanic III
Job Duties
Perform plumbing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
Responsible for performing skilled maintenance, installation on plumbing and steam systems.
Keeps track of materials needed works on drain systems and make sure system are flowing correctly.
Complete corrective and preventative work orders on plumbing and steam systems.
Responsible for performing maintenance and repair duties required of Zone Mechanics which involves aspects of carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing to keep assigned zone in working order.
Able to assess potential problems, hazards and opportunities to maintain assigned Zone assets to prevent unplanned impairments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Maintain and perform maintenance on all records/ WO, PM, & CM.
- Maintain service maintenance records, work orders, and requisitions and other miscellaneous records as needed or requested by administration.
- Experience in the full range of repair and construction in the area of plumbing/pipefitting/steamfitter.
- Experience with installation of standard and correctional plumbing fixtures, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform small repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and painting.
- Valid Virginia driving license.
