Plumber - Temporary

About the Role

Rider University seeks a temporary Plumber to maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures on campus, including toilets, sinks, showers, and occasionally underground systems such as irrigation lines. The role also involves maintaining boilers and other mechanical systems, as well as ordering supplies as needed.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures (toilets, sinks, showers, irrigation lines, etc.)
• Maintain boilers and other mechanical systems
• Order supplies as needed

Requirements

• General knowledge of plumbing systems and fixtures, including installation
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed plumber
• 5 years of plumbing experience
• Attendance in VoTech School with a major in Plumbing
• Knowledge of swimming pool operation or CPO Certification (a plus)
