Temporary Maintenance

Duties

• Assist with general maintenance on site grounds which may include but not limited to mowing, weed eating, and trimming, tree cutting and removal, and spraying of vegetation.
• Performing daily maintenance and cleaning of grounds.
• Performing tasks within the museum, including greeting guests, taking admissions, and museum store sales.
• Communicate any needs for site maintenance and repairs to supervisor.
• Maintain facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Be good with heights to climb ladders while changing lightbulbs, cleaning rain gutters, along with other duties off the ground.
• Stay current on and observe safety policies.
• Able to drive a dually truck and if possible, an attached trailer.
• Assist with special events and programs, including setup, implementation, and clean-up as needed.

Requirements

• The regular schedule will be three days per week, Monday through Friday.
• Days and hours will be set by the director and site’s head of maintenance in conjunction with the newly hired person.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and temporarily change schedule as needed.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $13.14/hour.

Schedule

The regular schedule will be three days per week, Monday through Friday. Days and hours will be set by the director and site’s head of maintenance in conjunction with the newly hired person. Must be able to work Saturdays and temporarily change schedule as needed.
