Plumber (Live-In)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Live‑In Plumber to join our Maintenance team in New Windsor, NY. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and reliability of our property infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of building systems, primarily plumbing.
• Fix plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and water‑pressure problems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Follow construction inspection procedures and system design standards.
• Work well with team members and others.
• Assist with basic electrical repairs (lighting, outlets, circuit breakers) – preferred.

Requirements

• Available for on‑call plumbing emergencies.
• Own plumbing tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogs, drains, fixtures, and water‑pressure issues.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and routine plumbing repairs.
• Basic electrical knowledge (lighting, outlets, breakers) is a plus.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using a phone to receive and manage work orders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to all safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and frequently bend, kneel, and crouch.

Pay

$30–$35 per hour
