Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains the facility's water supply, wastewater, sewage, storm drainage, and medical gas piping networks
• Services domestic water pumps, steam stations, heating and condensation systems, and water filtration equipment, while managing backflow and cross-connection prevention
• Conducts preventive maintenance, adheres to standard safety precautions using PPE, and tests critical fire protection systems including valves, pumps, and deluge systems
• Diagnoses system failures to determine repair or replacement needs and responds to after-hours emergency situations to resolve immediate safety hazards
• Coordinates with other trades, informs personnel of work order statuses to comply with building codes, and participates in meetings, training, and special projects

Qualifications

Education

Must have one or more of the following:

• Graduate of trade school
• 1+ years of related experience
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience
