About the role

We’re growing and seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our expert team in delivering high-quality industrial plumbing services.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, bend, and install various types of pipe (steel, copper, PVC/CPVC, etc.)
  • Perform copper brazing, soldering, and pipe threading
  • Install valves, flanges, hangers, and supports per specifications and codes
  • Repair pipe systems and identify leaks
  • Interpret and work from pipe drawings and scopes of work
  • Coordinate labor, tools, and materials with supervisors
  • Train and mentor plumbing apprentices
  • Ensure all work meets safety regulations and company quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience
  • Current Michigan Journeyman Plumber’s License (required)
  • ASSE Backflow Certification (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of various piping systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and pipe diagrams
  • Skilled in using hand/power tools and measuring equipment
  • Physically able to lift 50–80 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely navigate ladders, scaffolds, and lifts
  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, or loud environments
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects and maintaining balance on uneven or elevated surfaces
  • Able to respond quickly to safety signals or alarms

Pay

$35.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, on-site.
