Responsibilities
- Adjust, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain all facilities plumbing systems and applications under the direction of the Director of Facilities and Facility Managers.
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws, and Golden Nugget policies and procedures.
- Deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Perform preventive maintenance on systems and maintain applicable log books.
- Conduct walk-through inspections of domestic water systems, including water booster pumps, gauges, boilers, temperature readings, pumps, irrigation systems, and testing.
- Repair plumbing systems throughout the property and off-site facilities, including showers, sinks, toilets, water booster pumps, and recirculation pumps.
- Record gauge readings, repairs completed, and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
- Maintain technical logs and record all relevant data.
- Ensure a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Demonstrate commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by discreetly notifying management of concerns.
- Report any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations to senior management or the Ethics Hotline.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to deliver a service level that creates a positive, memorable guest experience.
- Must be able to read, understand, and interpret schematics, plans, diagrams, and drawings.
- Excellent soldering and brazing skills; experience with Toro pipe and PVC pipe.
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the plumbing trade.
- Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and the mechanical operation of equipment such as pumps, boilers, heaters, and other plumbing components.
- Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of plumbing systems.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Six years of plumbing experience; or a combination of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
