About the role

Plans, organizes, supervises, administers and completes facility plumbing maintenance and repair program. Responsibilities include program development; supervision of emergency plumbing maintenance and repair operations; and the installation, operation, and maintenance of plumbing and sewage disposal systems.

Requirements

• State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas or waste disposal systems. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis.
• SCDC Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas or waste disposal systems. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis.
• Must be able to supervise, direct, instruct, and work with other people.

Training

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
