Plumber (#011393) Perry Correctional Institution, Pelzer (GREENVILLE) Level 3

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control, supervise, administer and complete facility plumbing maintenance and repair program.
• Responsible for program and supervision of emergency plumbing maintenance and repair operations.
• Install, operate and maintain plumbing and sewage disposal system.
• Diagram and make take-offs.
• Requisition material and parts needed.
• Position requires on-call rotation and/or 24‑hour emergency repair.
• Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may be substituted for the diploma on a year‑for‑year basis.
• Experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas or waste disposal systems.
• Ability to supervise, direct, instruct, and work with other people.
