About the Role
Capgemini is hiring Functional Consultants / Business Analysts across junior, intermediate and senior bands to support a large, complex Teamcenter-based PLM modernization for a major Aerospace & Defense OEM. You are the bridge between engineering and manufacturing users and the PLM solution - capturing requirements, mapping functional scope and validating the build, within a blended onshore–offshore team.
Responsibilities
- Capture and structure functional requirements from engineering and manufacturing stakeholders.
- Map legacy PDM / process-planning functional scope (levels 0–2) onto Teamcenter capabilities.
- Identify and document augmented-engineering / AI use cases (AI-assisted requirements, change impact, work instruction generation).
- Document as-is / to-be processes - change control, configuration, BOM and work-instruction flows.
- Support configuration, test and validation of the Teamcenter solution against requirements.
- Collaborate across the onshore–offshore team (onshore core + offshore center), mirroring the client; senior band runs user workshops and leads scope mapping.
Qualifications
- 2 to 10 Years of experience as PLM Functional Consultant/PLM Business Analyst (Required junior, intermediate and senior folks)
- Requirements capture, documentation, test support.
- Owns functional areas; runs workshops; drives scope mapping.
- Leads functional domains, workshops and AI use cases; deeper Teamcenter expertise.
- PLM functional / business-analysis experience appropriate to the band (see matrix).
- Ability to capture requirements and map functional scope in an engineering context.
- Understanding of core PLM processes - BOM, change control, configuration, process planning.
- Comfort collaborating across onshore–offshore teams; strong stakeholder-facing skills.
Pay
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $73,150 - $174,000/Year.

This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA.
