PLM Engineer
About the role
As a PLM Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will drive digital transformation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), working on market-leading solutions such as Dassault, Siemens, and PTC. You will contribute across the entire PLM project lifecycle and play a key role in the following activities:
- Analyze business processes and support the collection of functional and technical requirements.
- Design, configure, or develop PLM solutions, defining workflows, business rules, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure alignment between operational goals and implemented solutions.
- Participate in the integration of PLM with enterprise systems such as ERP, CAD, MES, and PDM.
- Manage or contribute to project planning, monitoring timelines, costs, and quality.
- Support testing, validation, production release, and post-go-live activities.
- Provide user training and change management support.
- Contribute to PLM architecture definition, product data governance, and adoption of best practices.
- Prepare functional, technical, or architectural documentation to support project activities.
- Identify opportunities for improving existing systems and propose evolutionary solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or STEM/technical-scientific disciplines.
- Experience in PLM and/or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of at least one PLM platform: Dassault ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, or PTC Windchill.
- Competencies in one or more of the following areas:
- Functional analysis and business processes.
- Software development (Java, C++, TCL, ITK, JavaScript) or advanced PLM configuration.
- Enterprise architectures, PLM-ERP-CAD-MES integrations, data governance.
- Project management (knowledge of PMP, Prince2, Agile methodologies preferred).

Pay
Annual gross salary (RAL) ranges:
- 2nd level: €31,270 to €40,150
- 1st level: €35,057 to €57,475
The salary range is defined in accordance with European and national regulations on pay transparency. The minimum value corresponds to the minimum compensation under the applicable collective bargaining agreement for the specified level and role and does not necessarily represent the entry-level salary. The final salary offered will be determined based on skills, professional experience, seniority, and specific profile characteristics, in line with the company’s compensation and classification system, using objective and gender-neutral criteria.
