Plc Programmer

Troubleshooting and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated production systems.
• Aid in PLC programming and modifications to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance on controls, sensors, drives, and automation components.
• Diagnose equipment issues and identify root causes to prevent recurring failures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Support robotics, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and complies with company and industry standards.
• Document repairs, modifications, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting results.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment uptime.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Technical degree, certification, trade school training, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, and automated equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn PLC programming, robotics, and advanced automation systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, CNC equipment, robotics, pneumatics, or hydraulics is a plus.

Job Type & Location

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stillwater, OK.

Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
