Plc Programmer
Launch your career in industrial automation and manufacturing technology. We're seeking an Entry-Level PLC/Automation Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment.
About the role
In this role, you'll work with PLC-controlled systems, robotics, electrical and mechanical components, and production equipment to help keep operations running safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with technical training, internship experience, or hands-on exposure to automation, maintenance, or manufacturing systems who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated production systems.
- Assist with PLC programming and modifications to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Perform preventive maintenance on controls, sensors, drives, and automation components.
- Diagnose equipment issues and help determine root causes to prevent repeat failures.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Support robotics, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Document repairs, modifications, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting results.
- Partner with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment uptime.
Requirements
- Technical degree, certification, trade school training, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, and automated equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn PLC programming, robotics, and advanced automation systems.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, CNC equipment, robotics, pneumatics, or hydraulics is a plus.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
Schedule
This is a Contract to Hire, fully onsite position based in Stillwater, OK.
