About the Role
The Player Development Executive's primary focus will be driving acquisition of new-to-brand and new-to-market VIP+ customers to Caesars Entertainment's three Reno properties. The ideal candidate will be highly results-driven, with a proven ability to build, cultivate, and leverage strong internal and external networks to generate qualified player development opportunities and deliver measurable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Target, develop, and assess new business relationships.
- Clearly communicate programs/services to necessary people, seek their support, and keep them informed of changes that may impact the business.
- Effectively deliver required sales targets.
- Maintain relationships with VIP/VVIP guests through personal contact by phone and in person with the ultimate goal of increasing new business.
- Use creative thought in developing a wide customer base.
- Assist with special events as needed.
- Fully comply with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, and policies, and conduct yourself with the highest levels of integrity and honesty.
- Anticipate, respond to, and consistently meet or exceed the needs of internal clients.
- Support and cultivate new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
- Identify ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.
- Comply with and uphold company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals, and business strategy.
- Manage coordinators and work effectively as a collaborative team player.
Requirements
- Five (5) or more years’ experience as a Casino Host or Player Development Executive.
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using CRM platforms as well as casino management software.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
- Excellent networking abilities.
- Professional appearance and grooming.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and committed to personalizing interactions to drive performance.
- Ability to work long hours any day of the week and stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours).
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a desk when performing clerical functions.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Maneuver in and around the entire casino and hotel area.
- Tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
- Converse over the telephone in situations where there is loud and disruptive background noise.
- Handle more than one function at a time by being well organized.
- Schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
