About the Role
This position contributes to the overall success of the golf operation at Kissing Camels Golf Club by providing exceptional, first-class service to members and guests. Team members in Player Assistance/Outside Services are responsible for enhancing the member and guest experience through a variety of support tasks. This is not a beverage cart attendant position.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload golf bags onto golf carts, and clean golf clubs before and after play.
- Clean and detail golf carts, stage golf carts for daily use, and assist in general cart fleet maintenance.
- Maintain the practice facility, manage rental club inventory, and handle overnight bag storage.
- Deliver department-specific service standards and signature touch points.
- Establish consistent and complete cross-departmental communication channels.
- Assist in the daily setup and overall experience of the driving range, including setting up and breaking down stations and picking/cleaning golf balls.
- Proactively anticipate member and guest needs.
- Effectively communicate pertinent information among team members and supervisory staff.
- Assist with member/guest service resolution using the LEARN Model.
- Perform daily golf bag movement tasks, empty trash, and fold laundry.
- Complete opening and closing shift tasks.
- Greet every guest, member, and team member with service standards and set a positive tone for interactions.
- Provide extraordinary service that aligns with the "Enriching by Nature" philosophy.

- Empower yourself to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience for guests/members.

- Perform other duties as assigned and interface positively with other departments.

Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or in progress.
- License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License for a minimum of 1 year.
- Skills:
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., word processing, internet browsers).
- Reading comprehension and oral comprehension.
- Analytical and critical thinking for problem-solving.
- Knowledge of guest and personal service principles.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Physical Activity:
- Frequently: Standing, walking, bending over, reaching, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying (26–70 lbs.), manual dexterity, gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near and far vision, color recognition, and hearing.
- Occasionally: Sitting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and fine motor skills.
- Environmental Factors:
- Primarily works indoors with overhead lighting and comfortable ventilation but may occasionally work outside in inclement weather.
- Works closely with others but may also work alone.
- Exposure to noise, vibrations, uneven surfaces, and occasional use of motorized equipment or vehicles.
- May work with chemicals, detergents, or cleaning agents.
