PLATING OPERATOR II - 3RD SHIFT
About the role
TE Connectivity Lickdale PA offers competitive pay and benefits. The position is located off of 81 and 78 in Lebanon, PA, with local carpool services available. The shift is 3rd shift Sunday through Friday from 11 pm to 7 am. On-the-job training is provided for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Host, forklift, and hyster-lift operation and inspections
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling devices to move product and materials
- Operate, monitor, and adjust plating lines to meet production and quality standards
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure product conformance
- Conduct preventive and autonomous maintenance on plating equipment
- Perform basic chemical labeling and handling activities in compliance with safety standards
- Operate and inspect material-handling equipment
- Cook up and move materials and product between departments
- Follow all standard work instructions, safety procedures, and PPE requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S principles
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED certification
- High energy, self-motivated, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and advance in a fast-paced environment
- Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Knowledge of plating processes and production lines is preferred
- Some welding skills preferred
- Knowledge of Terminal products, reeling, and plating processes
- Basic arithmetic and the ability to work with alpha-numeric part numbers
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 44 lbs safely & dependably
- Must be able to carry a minimum weight of 44 lbs safely & dependably
- Must be able to push a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably
- Must be able to pull a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably
- Frequent standing, walking, and balancing throughout the day is required in this job
Qualifications

Pay
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Schedule
3rd shift Sunday through Friday from 11 pm to 7 am. Training must be completed on 1st shift.
