About the role

You will own the platform product roadmap, ensuring both discretionary and non-discretionary network requirements are prioritized and executed accurately and on time. The Platform Product Owner will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Regional Product Managers, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Client Services—to define requirements, oversee development and integration, and provide ongoing product support.

As a Platform Product Manager in Merchant Services, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. You will act as the voice of the customer, developing profitable products that provide customer value and guide successful product launches, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage platform product strategy and roadmap and strategic investment delivery for our Debit portfolio.
  • Prioritize and deliver network requirements, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk of over/under billing and penalties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, oversee development, integration, and provide ongoing support for new payment method builds.
  • Pursue mandate waivers and extensions to optimize delivery timelines and cost efficiency.
  • Drive revenue growth and client acquisition through delivery of new capabilities and maximizing portfolio profitability.
  • Maintain and update product collateral, and support client enablement through meetings, RFPs, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report on product adoption, utilization, and financial metrics.
  • Ensure audit and risk assessment readiness, compliance management, and support for product oversight and controls.
  • Expand team processes to include new payment methods and platforms.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability within the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Experience in product management in payments or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of global payment networks, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with global payment methods and local market requirements.

Pay

Competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. Those in eligible roles may receive commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in the form of cash and/or forfeitable equity, awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
