Job Responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owes, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Maintains comprehensive product documentation and training materials
- Supports Sales, Relationship Managers, Solutions teams, with product expertise and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Supports Sales presentations, client discussions and Request For Proposal
- Oversees vendor and partner engagements / relationships in collaboration with Payments partner groups
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Demonstrated success in product management roles, within the payments industry, showcasing a strong ability to manage and lead product lifecycles from ideation through to market launch and ongoing optimization
- Extensive knowledge of payment systems, technologies, and industry trends, enabling the candidate to anticipate and respond to market changes effectively
- Strong commercial aptitude and ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that fall outside the scope of formal planning, budgeting, and management
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term objectives while executing plans methodically
- Ability to influence and drive the adoption of key product lifecycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Strong commercial aptitude and ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that fall outside the scope of formal planning, budgeting, and management
- Proven ability to achieve strategic goals through disciplined execution
