What You'll Do
- Own and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Citi's cash equities execution platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities and evolving client demand.
- Act as the primary business lead for technology projects, coordinating across trading desks including Program Trading, High Touch, Futures, Delta One, and Equity Derivatives to support platform integration and client onboarding.
- Partner closely with technology, quantitative research, and trading teams to coordinate production releases, manage go-live processes for new client solutions, and resolve platform issues in collaboration with production management, network engineers, and application development groups.
- Oversee platform governance and regulatory compliance, ensuring all electronic trading products adhere to applicable obligations—including market access controls—and maintain a robust risk management framework across the full execution product suite.
- Produce and present in-depth analytics on product usage, client trading trends, execution performance, and revenue attribution, leveraging data-driven insights to inform platform investment decisions and enhance client outcomes.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives across a matrixed, global organization, translating complex technical concepts for both client-facing and senior internal audiences to influence outcomes and build consensus.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 6–10 years of relevant front-office or closely adjacent experience in a product management, execution advisory, or platform management capacity within a cash equities electronic trading environment at an investment bank or execution venue.
- Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of equities electronic execution, including hands-on familiarity with DMA products, execution algorithms, Smart Order Routing, Market Center, and exchange co-location infrastructure across major market venues.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical proficiency with practical experience using Q/kdb+ and Python for trade data analysis, product performance monitoring, and execution quality analytics. Knowledge of FIX Protocol is advantageous.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the Americas regulatory landscape as it applies to electronic trading, specifically Market Access requirements including algorithmic trading controls and market access risk management.
- Communication & Leadership: Proven stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across a complex, global organization and engage effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Education: A quantitative undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a leading academic institution. CFA or equivalent professional qualification is advantageous but not essential.
