Platform Operator - Food Service Fresh - Shift 2

About the role

This position will report to the: Supervisor. Travel requirements: None. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Shift: 2.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor entire plant product flow and product quality.
• Ensure baggers and pack lines have been fed efficiently.
• Operate plant controls and monitor equipment status to ensure the efficient operation of the entire plant.
• Receive instructions from managers and execute plans.
• Communicate with PDA’s via radio to make adjustments to production as needed to ensure product flow is appropriate.
• Maintain and log production records daily and sign off required documents.
• Send accurate production reports at the end of every shift.
• Perform field changes and communicate any quality issues to supervisor and manager.
• Operate forklift to dump bin into hopper.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

• Ability to use the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
• Ability to take direction from supervision.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

Pay

Pay Scale: $20.00 - $22.00 STRONG HISTORY. EXCITING FUTURE

Schedule

2nd shift (5:00PM - 2:30AM); Monday - Friday. Occasionally Saturdays. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be mandatory based on business/department needs.
