Platform Engineer II

Position Details

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer to integrate software developed in C++, C, and Java on hardware operating RedHat and Windows within a Layer3 network. The role involves supporting multiple programs and platforms, implementing OS-level configurations, and handling emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with scripting languages, configuration management tools, Linux operating systems, network devices, virtualization, and security clearances.
• Experience with DevSecOps, test automation, Jenkins, Grafana, DISM, PowerShell, .Net, bash, Git, Jira, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Coverity, and Grafana.

What You Will Do

• Support and improve DevSecOps pipeline.
• Handle emergency situations and debug stability issues.
• Configure and install operating systems, network switches, and other network devices.
• Perform integration and testing of software.
• Maintain and enhance tooling infrastructure.
• Travel to stakeholder sites as needed.
