Responsibilities

• Significantly contribute to the development of custom software components and integration of open-source code to address complex problems using cutting-edge Big Data / Cloud technology.
• Work autonomously to identify and solve problems quickly while contributing to broader strategic goals set by Architects on the team.
• Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software from prototype to operational applications.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, storage layers (ceph, rook, longhorn, etc.), programming skills in Python or Go, and a solid understanding of Linux systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our San Antonio, TX office.

Requirements

• Security Clearance - A current U.S. Government Security clearance is not required on day 1, but will be processed for one; U.S. citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with current Secret or TS level clearance.
• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in related field; OR 0 years relevant experience with a Master's degree in related field; OR 6 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes (or vendor flavor of Kubernetes), Ansible, storage layers (ceph, rook, longhorn, etc.).
• Programming skills in languages like Python or Go.
• A solid understanding of Linux systems, hosts, networks, security, applications, and proficiency in shell scripting (Shell/Bash).

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Must have experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• Must have experience with Kubernetes (or vendor flavor of Kubernetes), Ansible, storage layers (ceph, rook, longhorn, etc.).
• Must have programming skills in languages like Python or Go.
• Must have a solid understanding of Linux systems, hosts, networks, security, applications, and proficiency in shell scripting (Shell/Bash).

Skills

• Strong systems integrator with an eye for enhancing, optimizing, or increasing robustness of an existing code base.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and modern tools to define, build, and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Pay

Anticipated Salary Range: $78,405.00 - $120,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. When extending an offer, Enlighten takes a variety of factors into consideration including, but not limited to, the role's function, internal equity, and a candidate's education or training, work experience, certifications, and key skills.

Schedule

The role is performed in a hybrid environment, with an average of 1-2 days per week spent at our San Antonio, TX office.
