Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy infrastructure in AWS
• Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software from prototype to operational applications
• Work autonomously to identify and solve complex problems
• Contribute to the enhancement, optimization, or increased robustness of existing code bases
• Leverage modern tools to define, build, and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud
• Collaborate with Architects on the team to achieve broader strategic goals

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; OR 9 years of relevant experience with a High School diploma
• Experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes (or vendor flavor of Kubernetes), including cluster administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with container build tooling and Kubernetes automation tools (e.g. Helm, Kustomize, Flux CD, etc.)
• A solid understanding of Linux systems, hosts, networks, security, applications, and proficiency in shell scripting
• Willingness to travel to San Antonio, TX on average 3-4 days every three months
• Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes as needed

Qualifications

• Must have a current U.S. Government Security clearance on day 1, but will be processed for one; U.S. citizenship required
• Experience with Puppet, Ansible, Maven, and virtualization (e.g. ovirt, proxmox, vmware)
• Experience with writing automation in CI/CD tooling (e.g. Gitlab-CI, Travis-CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Understanding of agile software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Github, Gitlab, etc.)
• Experience with DISA’s Big Data Platform or other Big Data systems (e.g. Cloudera CDH Hadoop, MapR Hadoop, Databricks, Apache Spark, etc.) is a plus

• Programming skills in languages like Python or Go
• Strong Linux foundation
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS)
• Experience with Kubernetes and container build tooling
• Proficiency in shell scripting

Pay

Anticipated Salary Range: $115,199.00 - $145,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. When extending an offer, Enlighten takes a variety of factors into consideration which include, but are not limited to, the role's function, internal equity and a candidate's education or training, work experience, certifications and key skills.
