Platform Design/ Hardware Design Engineer 1

Job duties

• Engaged with coordination of platform design activities within a design program.
• Cross-site team communication.
• Development of client motherboard requirement specifications.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all requirements are identified and design expectations are met.
• Oversee motherboard schematic design and layout.
• Owner of Client platform bring-up and silicon debug support.
• Drive collaboration across the organization to maximize efficiency and lower redundancy.
• Ensure process improvements.
• Ensure commonality of design and usage of best practices.

Experience And Education

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 0-2 years of experience in mobile/desktop or server motherboard design.
• Strong leadership skills with project management experience.
• Background in high-speed interface design, PCIe, SATA, DP, USB, SPI, LPC, Client's processors & chipsets.
• Highly motivated and innovative individual with a keen interest in finding and resolving silicon and platform failures.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
