Platform Business Analyst (SQL/Snowflake/AWS)
About the role
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with experience in a client-facing role, specifically in the Life, Absence, and Disability Group insurance domain. This role requires strong experience with JIRA, Salesforce, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, and Mulesoft, as well as Agile/Scrum SDLC experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintains performance, resolves issues, and manages component capacity
- Monitors and manages integrations to platform’s applications
- Adheres to platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
- Reviews business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, and debugging
- Works closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses and technical proposals
- Deploys and configures platform applications tailored to company needs
- Designs technical solutions, configures/customizes, tests, maintains the platform applications to meet company requirements
- Interfaces with Dev, QA, and demos changes to external and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Two or more years of experience in release practices and environments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a client-facing role
- Experience with JIRA, managing the requirements and backlog
- Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Snowflake, AWS & Mulesoft
- Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC
- Experience interfacing with Dev, QA, and demo the changes with external and internal stakeholders

Pay
The salary range for this role is $78,000 - $115,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation.
Schedule
This role may be hybrid or remote. If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. If you live more than 50 miles from these locations, this role will be remote. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.
