Platform Business Analyst (SQL/Snowflake/AWS)

About the role

The Company: Aflac Columbus is seeking a Business Analyst (SQL/Snowflake/AWS) to join their team. This role is available remotely or as a hybrid position depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Maintains performance, resolves problems, and manages component capacity issues
• Designs, tests, develops, configures, and maintains integrations to platform’s applications
• Adheres to platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
• Reviews business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, and debugging
• Works closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses and technical proposals
• Deploys and configures platform applications tailored to company needs
• Designs technical solutions, configures/customizes, tests, maintains the platform applications to meet company requirements
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst, in a client facing role
• Prior experience with Life, Absence, and Disability Group insurance domain
• Experience with JIRA, managing the requirements and backlog
• Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Snowflake, AWS & Mulesoft
• Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC
• Experience interfacing with Dev, QA, and demo the changes with external and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
• Two or more years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of insurance domain
• Experience with JIRA, Salesforce, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, and Mulesoft
• Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC
