Plater- 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts before, during, and after processing.
• Operate all machinery and instruments necessary to safely perform job functions, including routine maintenance.
• Complete fork truck training (designated employees only).
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Locate and understand relevant Quality system documentation in the Valence computer system.
• Understand and perform steps defined in the Valence ROUTER, follow procedures for correctly filling out routers, correct input mistakes, and notify superiors for router-related problems.
• Process parts competently with little or no supervision.
• Practice behavior that avoids damage to parts and protects them from harm.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations.
• Ability to perform simple cleaning operations.
• Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators.
• Able to follow verbal and written directions.
• Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work under direct supervision.
• Must be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Person” due to access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies.

Pay

$20 to $25.00 per hour.
