Plater Operator - 1st shift

Job Summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Plater Operator - 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 5:00am – 1:30pm). Overtime is available as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Full responsibility for all the barrel/rack finishing and plating operations and their respective cleaning, activating, finishing/plating, metal recovery baths and rinse solution baths, to prepare and process raw base materials per all Vishay Dale and Military specifications.
• Cleans parts prior to plating.
• Follows all documented Vishay Dale Process Specifications (DPS's), as directed, to clean, activates and finish/plate the raw base materials provided.
• Sets power suppliers/rectifiers, timers, ampere minute meters and any other equipment related to the process.
• Inspects and documents all process quality results on the In-Process Inspection Log.
• Documents all required data on the In-Process Inspection Log, plating tickets, timecards, and any other pertinent/required data logs.
• Strips and re-plates any plated parts that have been approved for rework by utilizing Division, planting process, Engineer, plating Manager/Supervisor and Division Manager.
