About the role
The Blood Institute is seeking a passionate individual to join our team in manufacturing blood and blood components. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture pathogen reduced platelet products (PLAP)
- Ensure high quality product that meets FDA requirements for safety, potency, and purity
- Inspect, verify, and label pathogen reduced platelet products
- Provide sample platelet products for Quality Control (QC) analysis
- Perform maintenance and quality control of equipment for pathogen reduced platelets as appropriate
- Enter data of platelet products
- Seg blood/plasma components as determined by the lead
Requirements
- On-time, reliable, good communicator, detail oriented, and able to work well with others
- Reliable transportation, working telephone, standing for long periods of time, and ability to lift 50 lbs regularly

Pay
$15.00-$20.00 an hour or based on education and/or experience plus shift differential and holiday pay. Additionally, there is a $500 bonus after 6 months and a $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Friday through Monday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. (EVENINGS)
