About the role
Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that is responsible for successfully manufacturing blood and blood components. Candidates must have a high school diploma, transcript, or GED and be on‑time, reliable, good communicators, detail‑oriented, and able to work well with others.
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Primary Responsibilities
- Select basic salvage blood and blood components
- Verify salvage blood and blood components
- Label blood and blood components
- Convert blood and blood components
- Perform maintenance of equipment as appropriate
- Maintain the cleanliness of the manufacturing lab
- Follow SOPs as appropriate
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor
- Problem‑solving ability
- Ability to work well with people
- Computer skills preferred
- Some moderate lifting
- Reliable transportation and working telephone
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lb regularly
Pay
$15.00‑$20.00 an hour, based on education and/or experience, plus a $500 bonus at 6 months and a $1,000 bonus at 1 year.
Schedule
Days: Tuesday through Saturday
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
