About the role
The Lee Health Cancer Institute, located in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking two plastic reconstructive surgeons to build a comprehensive oncology reconstruction program.
Position Summary
This program aims to establish a premier facility specializing in advanced reconstructive plastic surgery. Ideal candidates will have experience in a comprehensive range of cancer patient services and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists. Candidates will participate in on-call coverage for reconstructive patients. This role offers a mix of surgical cases and ample opportunities for professional growth. Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical school
- Completed an ACGME-accredited plastic surgery program
- Completed a fellowship in microvascular reconstruction
- A passion for and skill in microvascular reconstruction
- Excellent teamwork abilities
- A commitment to patient care
- Board-certified or board-eligible in plastic surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in Florida
- Potential for recent graduates
- Exceptional surgical skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
