About the role

The Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Area Business Manager - NE is responsible for driving sales growth and market share within the designated Northeast territory for PRS product line. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for the PRS product line in the Northeast region.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including surgeons, hospital administrators, and purchasing departments.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration through proactive sales efforts and strategic account management.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training to healthcare professionals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers, ensuring profitability and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, clinical support, and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experience and product support.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, reports, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and professional development events to stay abreast of market trends and build a professional network.
  • Manage and prioritize daily sales activities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of successful medical device sales experience, preferably in surgical or hospital-based products.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving market share growth.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including hospital purchasing processes and reimbursement policies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the Northeast region, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations.

$175,849 - $290,151 Base + Incentive
