Plasma Operator

Essential Functions

• Ability to read material lists properly to ensure appropriate materials allocated to appropriate jobs
• Ability to locate and retrieve proper materials per material sheets using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment
• Proper set up and operation of plasma table
• Follow quality standards to keep reduction of scrap and rework to a minimum
• Be able to cut an acceptable quantity of material per hour
• Must be able to stand on feet for 8 hours
• Have basic math skills (addition, subtraction and fractions, measurements)
• Safely operate overhead cranes and hoists
• Team player willing to help others in the department as necessary

Qualifications, Education, Knowledge, Training, Work Experience

• Proficient with shop math including but not limited to general addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measurements
• Ability to operate cranes safely and efficiently, hoists, lifts, etc.

Shift Hours

Monday thru Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with overtime as needed

Pay

$16.50 - $18.50 per hour
