About the role
This position is eligible for remote work in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position will require some travel for office meetings, as needed, to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK.
Responsibilities
- Planview Administration & Configuration
- Administer and maintain general Planview application settings in alignment with business and technical requirements
- Manage resource data, including resource attributes, user access grants, and role assignments, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Configure and maintain screens, fields, columns, and default column sets based on user and leadership requirements
- Technical Support & Integration
- Collaborate with the Lead Administrator to learn system architecture, integrations, and data flows
- Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting integration errors, data issues, and system break/fix scenarios
- Help triage and resolve production issues, escalating as needed while building troubleshooting expertise
- Gradually develop the ability to independently support integration-related issues and system stability
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Support configuration management and release readiness by executing defined testing expectations
- Aid in creating, maintaining, and executing test plans for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades
- Perform functional validation during migrations, updates, and defect resolution efforts
- Ensure changes are tested thoroughly and meet requirements before deployment
- User Support & Documentation
- Provide functional support to end users, troubleshooting issues and answering system-related questions
- Contribute to knowledge management by maintaining FAQs, documentation, and internal knowledge base content
- Develop user-facing guidance and training materials to improve adoption and system understanding
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, MIS, or a combination of formal education and relevant experience
- Foundational understanding of system configuration, data structures, and user access management
- Exposure to integrations, data flows, or system interfaces (APIs, batch processing, or middleware)
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and support break/fix resolution with guidance
- Experience or familiarity with testing methodologies and execution
- Strong willingness to learn in a mentor-driven environment
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail
- The ability to balance user support, technical learning, and configuration tasks
Skills
- Technical & Functional Skills: Experience administering Planview or similar Project Management and/or Financial enterprise systems
- Technical & Functional Skills: Foundational understanding of system configuration, data structures, and user access management
- Technical & Functional Skills: Exposure to integrations, data flows, or system interfaces (APIs, batch processing, or middleware)
- Technical & Functional Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and support break/fix resolution with guidance
