Business Process Engineer Sr. Process Design Specialist II
About the role
The role is responsible for conducting data collection and analyses to support process improvement programs and projects to reduce cost and complexity across the enterprise. The incumbent will lead a variety of initiatives, ranging in complexity and scope, within business divisions as well as cross-functional enterprise efforts.
Responsibilities
- Experienced process improvement practitioner with a focus on driving cost reduction
- Execute complex process improvement initiatives affecting multiple functions or businesses with minimal supervision or guidance
- Serve as a dedicated resource working directly with division leaders and staff to support process improvement
- Influence senior leaders to make informed decisions
- Lead project teams comprised of peer-level resources (changed order)
- Report and communicate the results from process improvement efforts to senior business leaders division teams without direct authority
- Engage people and develop them through team work and a high level of participation
- Absorb change readiness and prepare plans for helping stakeholders through change
- Utilize process improvement readiness and prepare plans for helping stakeholders through change
- Utilize process improvement principles and tools to achieve significant improvement results
- Direct the analyses of process improvement analysts
- Drive for high quality results
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 8 years business process improvement or process redesign experience
- Healthcare background highly preferred
- Qualified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from an industry recognized leader (e.g. American Society for Quality)
- Master black Belt preferred
- Knowledge of change management principles and strategies as applied to people and process
- Proven project management and process improvement skills including strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong proficiency with Minitab and/or other statistical software
- Must be proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Education/Experience
High School Diploma/GED required
