We are looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team in Dallas, GA. Oversee ready-mix concrete plant operations, ensuring proper equipment, materials, and production to meet client needs.
About the Role
- Leads safety efforts, including meetings and enforcing proper equipment use.
- Ensures batching accuracy and monitors material quality.
- Coordinates operations with Area Operations Manager.
- Supervises plant staff and supports hiring and performance management.
- Maintains accurate payroll/timekeeping records.
- Monitors delivery timing and works with mixer operators for on-time service.
- Oversees equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensures plant operates at target capacity.
- Maintains overall plant cleanliness and organization.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3 years’ experience with concrete and related products.
- 1 year maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
- Current driver’s license (preferably a C.D.L.).
- Current knowledge of D.O.T., O.S.H.A., EPA, and other agency regulations.
- Self-starter with desire to promote company values and business principles.
- Ability to direct, teach, motivate, and coach.
- Ability to formulate decisions, make and support recommendations, prioritize work, communicate with multiple parties, and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate positive working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
- Bilingual is desired but not required.
