Headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, with additional locations in Cypress, California, and Spartanburg, South Carolina, ANA is growing and seeking a Plant Supervisor for our Henderson facility.
About the role
As a Plant Supervisor, you will oversee and manage production shift employees, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. You will coordinate daily operations at our manufacturing facility, supervise plant personnel, and work closely with operators and technicians to achieve production goals while maintaining operational efficiency. This fully onsite position reports to the Plant Manager and requires opening the shop daily by 6:45 am and staying until the plant is closed. The work schedule is weekdays from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the plant floor team, ensuring clear communication, goal alignment, and a positive work environment.
- Supervise and schedule plant personnel to meet production requirements, including training, mentoring, and motivating employees for continuous improvement.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate activities to ensure on-time delivery of products; collaborate with production planning and supply chain teams to optimize resources and minimize downtime.
- Address production issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions; pivot as needed to accommodate schedule changes.
- Enforce and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with standards; conduct regular inspections and collaborate with the quality control team to enhance product quality.
- Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations; conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement preventive measures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings; analyze production data and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Maintain accurate production records, including reports, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance logs; prepare and present performance reports to management.
- Meet with the Plant Manager at the start and end of each day to develop and update the production schedule.
- Review, verify, and approve employee timesheets in compliance with company policies and labor regulations; resolve discrepancies and coordinate with payroll as needed.
- Maintain documentation related to employee skills, performance trends, and compliance to support annual reviews and management decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within production and assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production management principles.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills; attention to detail and time management.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and delegation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for reporting and logging.
- Experience with 5S methodology.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to traverse the production facility.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $75,000 – $85,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and pay equity considerations.
