Plant Quality Supervisor

About the role

We are currently hiring an experienced Plant Quality Supervisor to join our 3rd shift team (10pm-6:30am).

Responsibilities

• Support our production process by monitoring and verifying proper quality techniques are being utilized at all times according to GMP, SOP, SSO, and HACCP guidelines.
• Create, update, and validate quality documentation to align with best practices and procedures throughout production that meet USDA/FSIS and BRC requirements.
• Support quality auditor team to provide oversight on daily responsibilities and activities.
• Work on a cohesive team where you are empowered to make decisions that are supported by your quality leadership team.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate safely not only by following all food and people guidelines but by leading your quality team to effectively support company policies.
• Utilizing knowledge from your 1-3 years’ experience providing quality assurance practices and procedures within the food industry.
• An organized and methodical approach to problem solving – often in a time-sensitive, tight-deadline situation where policy knowledge and accuracy are critical.
• A designated lifelong learner with a strong interest with expanding your understanding of food quality and safety procedures and best practices.
• Leveraging your excellent communication skills to motivate and empower your team and to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
